Is There a Cryptocurrency Alternative to Bitcoin?

Knowing how expensive Bitcoin is today do any of you know of an alternative cryptocurrency to invest in that may be considered a solid alternative to Bitcoin? I was looking at www.coinbase.com today and really don't know where to begin when it comes to purchasing a cryptocurrency. Are there websites that are more helpful than www.coinbase.com or are they the best of breed in the business?

More importantly how should a person evaluate a cryptocurrency to invest or speculate in when there are so many to choose from? https://www.coinbase.com/price

I'll check out the video. Hopefully I can find the next Bitcoin or Ethereum because things don't look promising as it pertains to the policies that may be pushed onto the people in the "plandemic" era.
