    Default Freighter. Keeping it Real

Freighter writes to T Ref. I find myself in the position of defending you against the, perhaps, too quick on the draw comment, of lying, from MWP - an unfortunate choice of words.

If he had commented on your boorishness or negativity, then perhaps that could be construed as a more accurate reflection of your posts. No need to thank me for your support.

Hmmm. I wonder who T Ref could be? 21Forme and Flash are, without a doubt, the most boring posters on earth. Birds of a feather? Or is this a feather of the same bird? Norm should add "being a boring fuck" to his list of reasons to get banned.

    Default Norm. Norm. Norm....

Whoa. Norm bans Freighter and Counting is Fun. Change BJTF to NTZS. Norm Takes Zero Shit. What "rules" were broken?

Norm. Midwest Player is the straw that stirs the drink. T Ref and 21Forme are your patsies. Not your friends.

Zee is beyond words. BJTF will never have much true value to real players if every thread is spent chasing thresholds. How many threads has he started?

Come on over to the island and you can go at it all day long. Or venting at VCT is also a popular course.

LMFAO! Haha. Since none of us are over there to put a stick in the face of the bear he has to go after fresh meat. Haha! Anytime that I hear Norman has to ban more people just puts a smile on my face. Moses, Norm doesn't know this but I'm on his website under a different alias. Ssshhhhhhh, don't tell anyone.

I sorta figured you might be. Who would I tell? You and I are the only posters here.

Default Freighter speaks out on BJTF losing thread

    Freighter writes:
We’re getting into an area that I shouldn’t have opened up - too many people are confined to the box. We haven’t heard from Tarzan or Moses in some time, 2 posters who essentially operate on the same principles, and who developed their skills to a high degree of what is left. I am not that well developed, however, I do have a strong sense of intermediates. Further, my own ramping has both min and max bets in both a lower and higher ramp.

The fact you give 1/2 point to the 7 and the 9 in Wong Halves sort of satisfies your intermediates. So, yes your ramping is a natural spot for your area of expertise.

As counts increase, I place far more weight on my (heightened) sense, which determines which ramp I’m on. The question was asked on another post as to what I do if I lose a $200 bet, and the count continues to go up - it depends. I’ll often decrease, probe and increase again. Again, it makes me look like a poor deck estimator, as my bets are not consistent with someone counting me down. Better proportions of card groups mean higher ramp, poorer proportions means lower ramp. Is EV enhanced? Of course it is - just think about what this means. Refer to post 27 - the stronger trues are winning more than the weaker trues at the same true count, and thus, those bets are on the higher ramp.

    Well said:

I have no way of proving this. I really don’t give a shit about what others think - it works for me. I’ve been around a long time and I’ve made a lot of money.

    BINGO!

    The Refinery writes:
Wow. Reid's bet ramps combined with voodoo. We're breaking ground!

Must you crap in every single thread? Get a life! Freighter, Ive read some of Reid's work. My bet ramping is so limited, it doesn't add much to my game. However, I was able to gain something from it and increase my limited supply strong deck compositions. Point is, it didn't hurt me one little bit to read. Why stop others from reading to draw their own conclusions Ref?

    Freighter responds to Ref:

Not voodoo, in the least. As mentioned, too many can’t see outside the box. But yes, Reid’s bet ramps.

    The Ref writes:
Reid is one thing. Don't try and tell people that your intuition plus Reid is anything but nonsense unless your count backs it up.

    Freighter;
Just because you have no imagination, or lack the intelligence to see beyond what’s in front of you, and don’t have the cognizant ability to determine what was actually said, does not give you license to label something as nonsense.

Now, I’ve previously mentioned that I felt it a mistake to mention this specifically because of people, such as yourself, who walk through life with blinders on. Further, if you bothered to determine what I actually said, versus what you think I said, then you would have realized that I said I couldn’t actually keep an accurate side count of intermediates in a 6 deck shoe, but do have an ability to determine what is a favourable, or non favourable situation.

Now, what is nonsense is your inability to understand that relationships between all card groups is a determining factor in the strength of any true count.

You are way over The Ref's head Freighter. BJTF hates that! Or so I've been told.

Hand writes to Freighter: Personally, I feel that each person who applies this idea of "extra granularity" to a point-count system possesses some sort of nuance that is unique to that person alone. Moses with his unbalanced block count, Tarzan with this version of DHMC, your application with Halves. Each coming from the same idea of gaining further insight, but with each their own method and way of looking at a game.

Great post! Appreciate you taking time to explain to us without divulging your "secrets".

Interesting analogy Dog Hand. I never really thought of my count as unbalanced. But I can see where you arrive at that conclusion. Bottom-line dictates what's been played and what is left. All future decisions are derived from this criteria.

    Essentially, yes. What’s a vaginia?

Hmmm. Tough question Freighter. I think it has something to do with Viagra.

    21Forme writes:
It's south of Maryland/Wash DC and north of North Carolina. Guess Canadians don't know US geography. And they have beaches, which is where the sand comes from.

Isn't that where all the Virgins live? Wait. That's the Islands. Virgin Airlines...what's up with that?

KJ writes: Maybe I need one of those super duper counts thats eliminates variance.

Moses replies: It's clear KJ and Zee's game and selection needs work. Big difference between reduce and eliminate. It's not about winning every session. It's about avoiding long losing streaks. A dollar lost has to be made back just to be even.

The Refinery writes to Freighter. Okay, this place (bjtf) is pure voodoo now.

    Moses says:

You're implying it wasn't before? I look up voodoo in the dictionary. It read "a word often used by some East Coast dickhead when he reads something he doesn't like."

Holy crap. But you have to say hit at least 6 times in every thread. Get a life, ya Boring fuck.

The Refinery goes after Zee, MWP, and others in every single thread. Just don't read it you simple fuck.

Now Freighter's cheese fits firmly on his cracker. Can he back up what he does? I would't bet against him.

As for The Refinery being a gutless whiny little bitch? Ya, I will take that bet.

    Default Freighter at his best

In the U.S., Veterans Day, in Canada, Remembrance Day.

In elementary school, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we always stood in silence for 2 minutes. Many of our fathers served, many carried the scars of war.

Let’s not forget the sacrifices of others so that we can, today, enjoy our freedoms.

    Great post Freighter:

The road is long with many a winding turns that leads us to who knows where.
But I'm strong enough to carry him.

    He Ain't Heavy

Before you comment on this Zionist apologist's great post, read this book first and see if you still have the same sentiments.

Mr S. Im talking about the memory of those who served because they loved their country and fought for what they believed in. To be willing to march into hell without question or pause. Not the reason for war which was not always necessary.

I see it as making a distinction without any discernable difference.

Fair enough Mr S. People only know what they are told. It's human nature for an individual to sek significance and purpose for their life. Many die for a cause they believed was worth fighting for. Whether it was real or not.
