Default Do casinos really make mistakes by barring marginal counters?

Another thread that Norm should've nipped in the bud from the start. But 96 posts later, it's been determined this poster is a casino employee and confirmed by The Refinery.

Freighter says DBS is another handle for UstonZen.

Uzen claims to have read every single post on the forum. DBS and Uzen share the commonality of a player with little experience and a poster with alot to say. Therefore, a primary reason I deleted almost all of my posts.

Uzen is on Flash's email list whom he sends to all without consent or knowledge for that matter. So, if you're on that list, at least one person in a casino capacity has YOUR info. Yet Norm sees me as the problem and Flash as the solution.

A couple of points. Yes, tipping is good business. The less people you whiz off the better. However, casinos expecting patrons to play from a shoe, a 6.5 game, or a 50% pen game is bad business. You get what you pay for. It works both ways.

It doesn't take 96 posts to figure that one out. Norm, considering the rights of your constituents, the entire thread should be removed.

Yet you have the audacity to question and put yourself on a higher level than those who post on this sight? C'mon MAN!

Default Beyond Counting Exhibit CAA by James Grosjean

Nip it and REMOVE it. The same could be done for this 94 post thread that has gone completely off topic. More confirmation of a casino employee troll.

Blitzer, I'm curious. Why? What is to be accomplished in this exercise? Informing and whizzing those off who can expose and cost you. I don't get it.

Socks? They are worried about all the socks? Hell yes. And it's only just begun. What did you think would happen with a playing field that is not level? It starts at the top Norm.

What the few "experts" on that site are really good at is to derail threads. The reason is they thought they know everything, even more than T3!
After over 10000 BS bragging posts, it turns out that T3 doesn't even play BJ! What a damn joke, LOL!
T3 is no threat to any casino because he spends most of his time bragging on BTF.

From Ds perspective we should give all our money to the casino and their employees. Trying to make that happen is his job.

Norm should do his job and nip this thread and make this thread go away...and probably DBS as well. The thread started out about a guy trying to sell a book. Now, 107 threads later, you're allowing DBS to yammer on and on about something completely off subject. Why? I know you're not stupid.

DBS has a point that tipping is good for a fair product or service. It is irrelevant for a bad product or service. The answer is simply don't support it.

Empty tables are never a good thing.

Message 100 in the thread seems to be one of two that get the point of Zender's casino management strategy, to some extent. I had stopped reading the abN0rmal site for months. I wasted many hours in the past trying to glean some gold out of the dung.

You ought to assume that everything you post is permanent, whether or not you "delete" it later. Most sites have stored the messages somewhere, and "spiders" collect the information and store it away for later use. This is what "search engines" do. And anyone (with enough know-how) can run their own spider to gather information.

The Dodo has stopped using e-mail (and unprotected text messages and voice calls) for almost all electronic communication. There are more private ways.

The Dodo plays 6:5 shoe games often and rarely tips, but did a few times in the past week.

I don't understand what's wrong with N0rm allowing a thread to be started by a casino employee. Casino employees can read threads, including this one. And the Dodo is not a casino employee, past, present, or future.

Good points Dodo. I never thought much about until this Uzen comes on and knows everything written. My thought was at the time was if he can do it, think of how many lurkers could be doing the same thing. Why take an unnecessary risk?

A couple of problems. A very strong possibility this poster has went under two names Uzen and DBS. Very disturbing posts by Uzen, so he changed his name, accoring to Freighter. Now he is probing for information that could help the players on his side of the table throughout the US. And T3 is just supplying it. It's likes giving the opposing team your playbook just before you play them.

There seems to an assumption we don't have an opponent. This particular opponent achieves victory by forfeit. A very tricky detail.

Norm, Norm. I'll saying again NORM! What is wrong with this picture?

Another 115 post thread of T3 not backing down to win an argument.

    T3 writes:

Reality is there is a great benefit to including high rolling ploppies in your party. You are a casino employee you should know this. If you back-off anAP that will win $5K to $10K this year but lose his ploppy buddies that are going to loss 6 or seven figures, then backing off the low level AP cost you hundreds of thousands if not millions to save $5K to $10K. While you casino suits are doing insanely stupid stuff all the time even the stupidity here should be obvious to you.

    Moses writes:

The problem is DBS is taking him to school. DBS is asking the questions and T3 is winning the battle of bashing the shit out of him. But still providing answers. Who cares about bashing? T3 should be asking the questions and leading him to the answers.

The old adage "shit flows downhill." The guy at the top has people to take care of our little narrow asses anytime he so chooses. He can also fire the guy in the pit as well.

So T3 instead of imposing your will as to what you want them to do, find out the do's and don'ts of the pit. This guy wants to tell you. BE SMART. C'mon Man!

Norm has allowed the thread to go off topic, that's why. I haven't read that particular thread or book although I did see a copy for sale in a Hastings Books, Music, & Video store before it closed down. BJTF is a boring blackjack site. If the posters over there want to drop dimes on each others play book on how they handle themselves at a blackjack table, they can go ahead.

The thing I don't get with a lot of these blackjack players is that they want to get kicked out of casinos and told they are a bad boy and girl and not to come back. It seems that they want to get backed off a game as if they have accomplished something by doing so. WTF ever! It seems that way from a lot of interviews that I've heard. These people are way to easy to catch for the casino. Trouble makers, who have way to much time on their hands. What a bunch of little cry baby prima donna's. Just starving for attention from the pit critters, begging to get that tap on the shoulder. They want to try & impress & kiss up to those casino suits.

Default More progress on SCORE for optimal play

Nice post Blitzer. I remember my first back off years ago. Part of me felt like shit because I lost a cash cow. The other part gave me a sense of accomplishment. Like I'd crossed some sort of threshold in my blackjack journey. LOL Stupid, I know.

Ironic, looking back I realize I retired early to take on the most difficult endeavor of my life and I've had some TFJs. So it's easy for me to spot a fraud or a wannabe or never was. This game is alot of things and does more to a persons physic than any sport. But one thing it is NOT is easy.

For example; DBS (Dumb Boring and Stupid) Another one of Flash's emailist writes.

With this said, I have incorporated some of the hiopt II principles into my game so I’m glad I spent time trying to learn it. Since I play strictly single and DD, I’m able to keep a mental note of which low cards I’ve seen. For example, if the count is +2, and I know most of the low cards have been 5 and 6s, I’ll bet more than if they were 2 and 3s. I also try to keep a side count of aces and sometimes I keep a side count of 7s.

    Moses replies;

WTF? You don't sort of keep tack. Either you know exactly what has been played and remains or you don't. If you don't? Then don't fucking guess. Now, the cumlative EOR of the 2-4s and 5-7s is the same. The formula for a large bet bet is if one column is three or more than the other then you are betting into a deck that is also rich in that group. It doesn't matter which one because the EOR is balanced.

Freighter writes; So, let me try to understand your style. I ahhhhhh, play hi Opt 2, no wait - I only incorporate parts if hi Opt 2, wait a second, I take that back, I kinda dirty keep track of the ramps playing hi lo....no wait...I think....wait, I'm not thinking.

It's not up to me to tell you what your counting style, it's up to you to state clearly and concisely what your playing preferences are.

So, what do they teach you in middle management school? Why don't you dazzle us with your knowledge of Casino protocol.

    Moses replies;

That was my line of thinking. Again, DBS fails to defend his position. IF someone accused my of being a casino manager and I wasn't? I'd be pissed.

    DBS goes on:

Freightman, that’s not a bad description of my style. This site and comments by Don, Flash, Tarzan and several other posters - including you - have given me confidence that what I’m doing is fundementally right.

I’m definitely not a pro but I like to add new elements to my Hilo game, while still letting me enjoy the casino experience.

I wasn’t sure if all the side counting I was doing was worth it but lately isn’t become second nature to me. Tazen has got me paying more attention to the 8s. Three is right, I could have probably learned hiopt II by now, but I think I’ll stick with my hybrid approach.

Don’t worry I’m not going to write a book about my counting system. It’s still a little confusing to me so I wouldn’t know how to put it down on paper anyway. Mostly I’ve got a lot of information in my head that I rarely use.

Btw, I was doubling my 10 vs 10 a lot more this weekend, and it was working. I know this is short term variation and means nothing but it sure is fun to see how people react when I do this. I had my super max bet out there with a +7 count and doubled my 10 vs 10 and got a 2.

Moses writes: What a mess! WTF does Tazen know about side counting the 8s? Never once has he referred to this strategy.
Now the reason for side counting the 8 is to protect yourself on 11v9,10 in large bet situations. For instance, if you know the 8s are exhausted, then there is no way to get 19. But if 4 Aces remain? There is a good chance of getting a 12 you can't hit.

NEVER play while confused. The guy is all over the place. Like he couldn't spell CAT is he were spotted the C and the A. Not writing a book is the only thing he said that makes sense.

    Freighter writes:
3 was spot on with his exposing the supposed weekend warrior DBS, as a casino stooge.

DBS does not have the experience or seasoning to understand the frequency of occurrence if certain hand matchups such as 10 v 10 as mentioned in post 75. His frivolous comment of doubling 10 v 10 more often this weekend, as if it's an everyday occurrence, mentioning his exploits at true 7, is evidence of his low class aspirations aspiring to muddle management. He will no doubt justify is endeavours, claiming his +EV moves below strike point are still EV positive.

I further note DBS comments in post 71, wherein he claims to spend most of his time on SD and DD. Ummmmmm, what is his area of domicile? Are you a critter in Vegas or Reno? Sounds like it.

    D B S - Dumb boring and stupid.

Moses writes: He really gave himself away when he said he is "tweaking" HiLo. For one thing, no AP worth his salt his going to emloy HiLo and last very long in SD. Why? For one thing, the spread allowed is too restrictive. For another, you'd better know the whereabouts of the 7 when you have a large bet out and a common hand of 14 vs 10. Simple answer is switching the tags of the 2 and 7 will take you a long way.

Point is, Blitzer. You would have already eaten this guys ass here and read him as a spy. Or you would be smart enough to suck his brain for vital information he clearly wants to deliver. But Norm just allows the guy to amble on and get info. Geesh!

Where I play, there are not many counters, and the dealers and pit critters don’t know much about them, or what to look for. Like I said, I’ve played for 20 years on the east coast, south and even about 5 times in Vegas and never seen anyone backed off, except me.

    Now DBS writes ^:

    Moses replies:

The OP and other posts stated you were new and rarely played. Even then it was locally. So there is a place along the east coast and out with a plethara of SD and DD with little heat and few players? Let go Blitzer. lol

I gotcha Bumblebee. That's enough of this guy for me...and should be for them as well. But it won't be. Wanna bet the thread hits 200?

The longer a player keeps at it, it seems the house will figure it out sooner or later that they may have an AP blackjack player on their games. The Casinos paranoia is worse than the average meth head who is window watching. I imagine that it must have sucked getting backed off your first blackjack game if it was a cash cow. That's where you needed a small team of players to continue to pound them even when your not allowed to play anymore to continue to harass them.

I've never been backed off a blackjack game but if I ever did it would probably turn into an ugly scene where nasty words would get said before I leave. If I do end up playing blackjack in the casino I usually go to a different property compared to playing on the property I may be staying at. That way if something does happen, I won't get a rude eviction in the middle of the night and get arrested in the process once they open up the room door. My saying, "Don't play/shit where you sleep!"

After the Vegas massacre I don't feel safe in the casino's hotels anymore which has forced me to change my approach to the casino. Not only that but the casinos have changed their security protocols which makes it riskier for me to stay in their hotels. I can no longer stay in any casino's hotel. Now it's the Holiday Inn or some other hotel/motel that does not have a casino.

Blackjack is a fun card game but I think poker is a more sociable game which is more fun to play than blackjack. Poker is more intricate and there are a lot of variations of the game to play other than NLHE. I think poker presents more of a challenge than blackjack offers. Most people that you meet off the street kind of know how to play poker vs. blackjack. Poker is more popular than blackjack in my opinion and it allows players to win more money without all the bullshit that blackjack offers knowing you have to fight the house.

Suggestion - put him on your ignore list. He never comes up for air. Just posts and posts. 15 pages of this nonsense! Reminds me of a former member who had something to do picking up something on Mt Sinai.

What did you do? Anytime you were challenged in the slightest you'd leave an threaten to never return. Except you keep returning. Yes, you enjoy pounding on Zee. But to actually conjure you own individual idea would be monumental. Don't sit in judgeement of me, you silly on of a bitch. I'm in a casino damn near everyday and working on an aspect of my game when you're sleeping. Nobody works harder than me.

All you've ever done is bitch about the number of posts. It's a forum dumbass.

You should start your own and then not allow anyone to post. Shrewd!
