O man. You guys are a riot today.

When you say counting cards "doesn't by any means make you likely to be a winner" do you mean you also need to be able to do it without getting backed off?

Moses replies: Naw. We usually just walk in, hand over all our money, and then count the damn things until we get tired. This puts the pit at ease.

Or have I misunderstood? Moses replies: Well I suppose you could bring your own deck and count cards in the parking lot.

Surely you're not "serious." Moses replies: No Hidden Name Member. I'm not serious. And please don't call me Shirley!

After over 10000 BS bragging posts, it turns out that T3 doesn't even play BJ! What a damn joke, LOL!
T3 is no threat to any casino because he spends most of his time bragging on BTF.

    Default Dog eat Dog World

Three, you close your post with the above quote, after the guy just went through reading eight paragraphs from you, he should throw out a red flag. Where is the sportsmanship in that move?

Some thoughts. 1.) The more things change the more they stay the same. 2.) It's a dog eat dog world. These two want the same rubber biscuit. 3.) Is BJTF even about blackjack anymore? 4.) Was it ever?

The only thing that surpises me in those threads is you and Frrreighter haven't figured it out yet.

    Default Axiomatic

The (non loquacious one) 21 forme is the true fool. Norm's advice was always "read more post less." Not that Norm, the other Norm.

A good man is an axiomatic man. An anxiomatic man is a happy man. BE AXIOMATIC! Mr. Saliu.

Excellent qoute. Words to live by. Thanks for the advice Norm. Not that Norm. The other Norm. I probably wouldn't have found this qoute without your advice.

....Something I thought about last night ... casinos used a single deck and delt it down to the the last card ... Now with DD, many casinos cut off half the cards, which basically means they are dealing one deck. How are these two any different? ..

    Moses replies:

Sharky. Always liked your candid style. Cutting to the chase speaks to why you're such a fine handicapper. I'd sure like to have this guy as my dealer. Of course, not setting any spread limit would further increase casino profits. No?
Maybe if Norm, not that Norm, the other Norm let's him keep going and all casinos will go single deck 100% pen to make even more $$$$.

The only thing more ridiculous is that Norm. Not that Norm. The other Norm allows the nonsense to go on for 450 posts over 4 threads. But quantity of posts is not the objective. Quality of posts is the goal. Just a bit outside. Geesh!

Your wife would drive me nuts. Btw, how does she comment on the sex. Also, one of the better posts on this thread.

The morons will keep coming, because, in the end, they're all morons.

The old lady is not the exception; she's the rule. Sad. In fact, pitiful. And yet again, we shouldn't blame the casinos. They're running a business. If you ran a business, upped your prices when your competition didn't, and everyone still kept coming, business as usual, why wouldn't you? The casinos aren't to blame. The mental hernias who patronize the games should be euthanized and put out of their misery.

    Don writes ^:

Moses replies: Hilarious. Absolutely true. But funny the way Don S puts it. My 82 year young friend Lou expects everyone in a packed sportsbook to remain quiet. They are "hollering at a big TV for crissake" as he gets himself all worked up. His hearing very sensitive. I tell him he flinches because he just heard a nat fart 4 miles away. When the guy jumped up on stage with a broom last night I had to hold Lou back.

So, in the future, a guy goes out to play blackjack. Wife says, "honey what did you do last night"? O I went out and played 6.5 blackjack out of a 20 deck boot. "O how did you do"? I lost all my money. "Hmmm, but why are you all beat up"? O about 20 former ol geezer APs jumped me in the parking lot and kicked my ass for playing in the first place. "Good for them."

Did you read ZMF’s article on how to argue on the internet?

    DBS writes ^:

    Moses replies:

No I did not read it. But I'm not surprised False would post it. What is the point to argue on the internet? Two people can agree to disagree and it's no big deal. But when someone has a drive to brainwash others to their way of thinking, then it gets dicey to say the least.

I've never understood the purpose of someone who merely just wants to argue for the sake of argument. If that's what forums are all about, then it should be better noted on the intro. My point is to try to preserve what little we have left to the game.

Fact is, people get pissed off. When that happens. People get hurt. Quite often, innocent people. What can't the likes of you an False live and let live. Exactly what is it you think you are trying to win or achieve in such a long drawn out lengthy processs?

Since APs believe people come to casinos with an unlimited amount of money to lose, I can envision now how an AP run casino would operate. They would probably hire people who would rome the casino with a cattle prodder. If they saw a customer taking too long to roll the dice, make a decision on some card game, etc, this employee would give him a slight shock with the cattle prodder to speed the game up.

Or the the Zapper used on Cliffy in a Cheers episode. Either should have been used in your thread about 184 posts ago. None of this matters. Get in. Get paid. Get out. If you are thinking about all this other crap, you're losing money because you are not focused.
