Trump Official Blames Hamas for Israeli High Crimes

Trump Official Blames Hamas for Israeli High Crimes
by Stephen Lendman ( - Home - Stephen Lendman)
Blaming victims is longstanding US and Israeli practice, ignoring their own high crimes of war and against humanity.
Zionist Jason Greenblatt serves as Trump's special representative for international negotiations.
Together with Zionist senior administration advisor Jared Kushner and Deputy National Security Advisor Dina Powell, he's involved in restarting another round of dead-on-arrival peace talks, achieving nothing for Palestinians each time initiated.
In Israel after a tour of the Israeli/Gaza border, Greenblatt outrageously said "it is clear that the Palestinian Authority needs to resume its role in the administration of Gaza, as Hamas has substantially harmed the people of Gaza and has failed to meet their most basic needs."
Fact: Washington one-sidedly supports Israel. It doesn't give a damn about Palestinian rights - not earlier, especially now, crystal clear with two Zionists involved in jump-starting peace talks, an affront to all Palestinians.
Fact: Greenblat's statement ignored international law. No nation may interfere in the internal affairs of others. America and Israel do it all the time.
Fact: It's for Palestinians alone to choose who'll lead them. The PA serves as an appendage of Israeli occupation - ending it the core issue for peace, unattainable otherwise.
Greenblatt swallowed Israeli propaganda, saying he "learned a great deal about the difficult challenges facing the IDF, Israelis living in surrounding areas and the Palestinians living in Gaza as a result of Hamas' mismanagement of humanitarian aid and its commitment to terrorist violence."
Fact: Gaza is illegally blockaded. Hamas is Palestine's legitimate government, the PA an Israeli creation, used to enforce occupation harshness, terrorizing its own people.
Fact: Israel uses Gaza for target practice, waging naked aggression on the Strip at its discretion, terrorizing its people at all times, accosting fishermen at sea, shooting farmers in their fields and children too close to its illegal buffer zone - terror-bombing and invading the Strip other times.
Fact: Israel's ruthlessness created dire humanitarian conditions, Gaza unfit and unsafe to live in, two million residents held hostage to apartheid viciousness.
Greenblatt, Kushner and Powell represent unacceptable continuity in Palestine, not equitably ending decades of Israeli occupation, colonization, exploitation, and apartheid.
Peace is unattainable under these conditions. Washington and Israel reject it, demanding Palestinian subservience to their demands - equating submission to conflict resolution. Open-air imprisonment is no solution.
