Default More censorship at Blackjack the Voodoo Forum

Unless it has been moved somewhere that I can't see, Norm removed a one line post from Bjarg, that I thought was outstanding. Hilarious actually.

I believe it was in the "card counting as a career" thread started by Zeezebar. Flash made a post attacking Zee. Said something to the effect that Zee is a fraud, doesn't even have basic card counting knowledge and not the player he pretends to be.

Bjarg responded with a one line post, something like "Are you sure you aren't talking about someone else?" No name but the implication was there. It was brilliant in it's brevity, subtlety, and yet, clarity.

So guess what, Now both posts, Flash's post and Bjarg's response are gone with no mention. I suppose if questioned, Norm would say he censored because of an attack on Zeezebar, however, he has let attacks of Zee occur very regularly. In reality he removed the posts because of everyone knew bjarg was speaking of T3 and Norm couldn't have someone speaking the truth (which everyone now knows) of the golden boy....the "protected one". Norm's censorship is just really sad.

I think my 3-day suspension and leaving outright, as a greenie contributor never to return, couldn't have come at a more galvanizing time...

Indus Valley is a colloquialism for the bronze age ... that's where the unworthy serfs are banished to, the dark ages!

That seems rather obscure. Norm's jokes are fucking stupid.

See, the thing is the Bronze Age and specifically Indus Valley was a positive time in evolution of civilization, assuming you agree with that premise. It seems N0rm definitely DOES agree which is why I found referencing a minorly successful civilization didn't make sense to me. If he wanted to say dark ages he should have said dark ages and given a geographically and chronologically relevant area. I suppose he is a Bronze Age hater with his maths and computers but his social skills are about on par with a caveman that can't fucking hunt.

Here's a funny Wattenberger sighting from today.

It came to my attention that 'pigpen' Norm posted at the 2+2 poker forum, in a thread about Michael Morgenstern. (it' in the news, views and gossip section). After Norm posted, one of the members mentioned Norm has a history of bullying people. At this point, our hero "pigpen" responds that "he has bullied no one" and the poster "has been listening to the wrong folks".

This is the point that I was notified and being that the "listening to the wrong folks" was a reference to me, I had a thought or two on the subject. So Norm and I went back and forth a bit rehashing old events, with Norm pulling out his usual playbook saying I am illegally posting copyrighted and protected information. Anything to avoid having the truth be told. No doubt at this point he sent a message to 2+2 administrators threatening them with legal action if they did not remove my posts. That is his regular routine. Threaten this and file complaints about that.

So finally after a little back and forth, we get the typical Norm ending. "This will be my last post here".

On Norm's own site when the conversation goes in a direction he doesn't like or there is something he can't answer for, he gives the standard "Thread closed. I don't have time for this. I have work to do", response. But on other sites, where he can't control the conversation, he goes to the "this is my last post here" route. Plays the victim. Oh you are being so mean to me, I am not going to play anymore.

Norman Wattenberger is a typical bully. He bullies people and threatens, manipulates and tries to control what is said and when someone stands up to him, he takes his ball and runs home just like every other bully. What a small person this man is.

    So which count is best?
False, The Refinery, Hidden Member Name writes as 21Forme this time:

Moses replies; Seriously? Tarzan clearly had the best concept for shoes. False clearly lacked the ability to perform it, therefore was not the person to inform. The sim-God indicated Tarzan is only slightly better than Hi Opt II wh ich is less productive than Wong Halves by False's own admission. So the winner is Wong Halves with Freighter scatching his balls method, hands down.

For my needs and specific techniques that I have incorporated into my attack....Hi-lo.

Moses replies; You are going to need to bring a helluva lot more than that to the table in today's pitch games. A column count keeps you out of trouble and your opponent off balance.

    Default "Spidey"

One more quick update on the El cortez situation. Yet another known AP has confirmed in private and a couple more expressed their intent to check it out in the next couple days. These are all members of Wizard of Vegas site, where the initial post of this thread was reposted by someone (not me).

Still no AP members are interested in being the face of such a complaint or legal challenge (similar to my own position), but there has emerged a possibility. A couple guys are trying to recruit Mike Shackleford (Wizard) to be that public face, thinking he may have interest. I hope he does and will do whatever I can to work with him in this cause.

    Spidey writes ^:

Moses replies: Speaking of Egregious & Capricious. I've always admire those with the valor of KJ. I'd probably put you in that class. But I'm curious. When did winning $$$$ stop being enough?

Suppose you and the other known AP are successful in your takedown of a casino. Where do all those people that supported that casino go to play? Hope it isn't your honey pots. Suppose that pit boss really needs that income to support his family. Now he is umemloyed for awhile which creates a family hardship. But he gets a job at guess where? One of your honey pots. You think he is going to forgive and forget? I wouldn't. Not too mention all the other employees that may get the "hey, Spidey just fucked me notion." Also, there may be a few players that really like the place because it was close to their home or on the way from work. Now you've put yourself in their sights as well.

What kind of a meassage does that send to other casinos? An AP took down a casino. I've seen those butt cheeks tighten up before.

Mike S. I've seen you in those youtube videos with the beautiful ladies. No offense, but I just don't think you'd fair to well in an alley with a couple of thugs. IF the other AP happens to be 21Forme. What the hell is he going to do? Hide in a dumpster?

Now suppose you are NOT successful. What message does that send to the other casinos. Hey, they got away with it, so can we?

If found guilty the pit boss deserves to be fired period. He/She knew well in advance what the risk would be. Greed got in the way and the son of a bitch and anyone else involved should have to testify on who called the shots to first start cheating. I believe all of these people who were involved should be barred from working again in the business for life.

    Bosox writes ^:

Moses replies: Excellent perspective. Especially, in the normal world. I've lived in the casino world of corruption for a few years now. Almost daily, the notion of "whoa never saw that one before" comes to mind. Heck, I'm getting so used to it, I don't even notice stuff that would make the average person stand and stare with jaw dropped.

Therefore, my simple rule is "don't look for trouble, it will find me soon enough. Stay in shape and be prepared when it does."

I'm putting myself in Spidey's position. I've been surrounded twice in 7 years. Once in a casino for returning to play after a back off and once is a parking lot to be robbed. I was prepared for the latter because I now know the signs. I was not prepared for the former. Neither was much fun and both came quickly without much notice.

These people are now emloyed or frequent in casinos where I still play. A couple give me a stare down every time I walk through. So I walk up to the head sup and say "hey, that guy 86ed me at another place and now he is staring at me funny"?

Everyone knows everyone the casino. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the good guys from the bad. Quite often, both are one in the same. I'd hate to see Spidey get in over his head after the fact.

Bosox: Are you saying everyone employed at El Cortez would've or should've known of the corruption? I wouldn't know because I spend only biz time in the blackjack area. I don't say much. But, maaan, do I hear alot.

Also, if I'm playing at a place giving me a TC +4 in 4 out of 8 decks? I WILL adapt. I'm likely to be really peeesed off if someone screwed it up.

I thought I saw Moses in Reno recently. There was a homeless guy sitting on a big rock in the Truckee, repeating what other people were saying, then he would answer himself. Nobody cared, but a few commented on his mental illness.

Moses replies: You should've said Hello. Because you out me with comments like this, you'd never get to the O and your ass would be under that rock where mine sits. God would say "okay Moses, what did you do with 21Forme"? Gee, I didn't know it was my turn to watch the sheep. Hmmm, I think Zee shot him or the wolves got him.

I'm curious False. Does being that damn BORING come natural? Or do you have to work at it?

...And of course Rah Rah Ryemo gave you a helpful for misinformation. 21Forme repeats to his puppets - Pete and Repeat. Makes everyone physically ill.

Norm writes ^ regarding El Cortez:

Moses replies: Good call. But you're about 160 posts late. Questions: Is BJTF trying to be the blackjack forum of the WWF? Or are you really that stupid?

KJ posted enough coconuts here to keep those on the Island of NoNorm fed for a lifetime. So all is forgotten and good in the hood? C'mon maan. I suppose you really believe Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant were really both undefeated and had never faced each other before Wrestlemania III.

BJarg: T3 lost his crown of being the biggest clown in blackjack. Norm just regained the title.

Are your getting my drift now? Don't go looking for trouble in a casino. It will find you soon enough. Spidey is now in a web.

Nice move Norm. You let let the mice back in your house just to give the cat something to chase. No?

Three, do you ever think things through thoroughly before you make a post about it? You are in my opinion one god damn narrow-minded selfish prick. I guess the need to brag outweighs the fact that others in the community may have paid a heavy price. Thanks, Genius, and Spiderman for the alerts.
