Default Ukraine: America's Push for a War with Russia

Obama, stop listening to Insane McCain...

Mike Whitney has written and excellent indepth article on this very topic.

The Fallujah Option for East Ukraine
"Non-lethal military aid will inevitably lead to lethal military aid, sophisticated weaponry, no-fly zones, covert assistance, foreign contractors, Special ops, and boots on the ground. We’ve seen it all before.

There is no popular opposition to the war in the US, no thriving antiwar movement that can shut down cities, order a general strike or disrupt the status quo. So there’s no way to stop the persistent drive to war. The media and the political class have given Obama carte blanche, the authority to prosecute the conflict as he sees fit.

That increases the probability of a broader war by this summer following the spring thaw.

While the possibility of a nuclear conflagration cannot be excluded, it won’t effect US plans for the near future. No one thinks that Putin will launch a nuclear war to protect the Donbass, so the deterrent value of the weapons is lost.

And Washington isn’t worried about the costs either. Despite botched military interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and half a dozen other countries around the world; US stocks are still soaring, foreign investment in US Treasuries is at record levels,, the US economy is growing at a faster pace than any of its global competitors, and the dollar has risen an eye-watering 13 percent against a basket of foreign currencies since last June.

America has paid nothing for decimating vast swathes of the planet and killing more than a million people. Why would they stop now?

They won’t, which is why the fighting in Ukraine is going to escalate."

Who Wants to Fight Putin's Russia?

After Iraq, Syria, ISIS, Iran, Cuba, Yemen and so on, Washington is pushing for more war in Ukraine –
    - on the side of neo-Nazi volunteers and against nuclear-armed Russia

For my sins, I’ve just finished reading the latest report by three of Washington’s centrist think tanks, "Preserving Ukraine’s Independence, Resisting Russian Aggression." From their peaceful, safe and posh offices they urge President Obama to get tough with Moscow and supply "defensive" weapons to Ukraine, while sanctimoniously concluding, as LBJ and Bush Junior’s echo chambers did in 1965 and 2003, that "assisting Ukraine to …. defend itself is not inconsistent with the search for a peaceful political solution."

As if Iraq, Syria, ISIS, Iran, Cuba, Yemen, Obama’s anti-China "pivot to Asia," and the Republican train wreckers who now control Congress aren’t enough, there’s a permanent taste for war among the Imperial City’s hawks, now ready to fight with your kids (never theirs) to teach that bastard Vladimir Putin a lesson and show him who’s boss. We did it to Grenada and Panama and we can do it again.

According to the think tankers, "The West has the capacity to stop Russia. The question is whether it has the will," sounding exactly like the blind and arrogant men who took us into Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq.

'Minsk II' - What About Foreign Troops in Ukraine?

    written by daniel mcadams

    thursday february 12, 2015

After a marathon 17 hour negotiation session, the leaders of Russia, Germany, France, and Ukraine agreed on an upgraded ceasefire plan, "Minsk II," that lays out 13 points to be implemented by the west-backed government in Kiev and the independence-seeking regions in eastern Ukraine.

While there is much to be skeptical about in such an agreement -- the devil is always in not just the details but especially in the interpretation of the agreement -- there is one point of the plan that appears very much worth pondering.

According to a translation of the 13 points, point number ten reads:
All foreign troops, heavy weapons and mercenaries are to be withdrawn from Ukraine. Illegal armed groups would be disarmed, but local authorities in Donetsk and Lugansk would be allowed to have legal militia units.

There are two very significant points to ponder in this statement to which all sides agreed. First, it is most likely that when proposing this point, France and Germany, along with Kiev, were thinking of what they claim are as many as 10,500 regular Russian soldiers fighting inside Ukraine. For this point to be implemented and thus the plan carried out in good faith, the "10,500 Russians" as well as a handful of French and other volunteers for the breakaway regions must return home.

But the statement is unequivocal: All foreign troops must leave Ukraine.

What about US troops, including CIA and Special Forces, that are said to be assisting the US-backed government in Kiev? Would Kiev not have the same obligation to expel these foreign troops? And, most importantly, what of the 600 US paratroopers that are to be sent by President Obama to train the Ukrainian military starting next month?

Would it not be a violation of "Minsk II" ceasefire agreement for the US to go through with sending 600 troops into Ukraine?

FUCK YOU VICTORIA NULAND AND FUCK YOUR WHOLE MISERABLE NEOCON ZIONIST FAMILY

It was Nuland who said America had spent $5B on CIA regime change in Ukraine, when the NeoNazis took over, with the full blessings of Obumba and his cronies. These NeoNazi creeps are still practising genocide on their own people in Eastern Ukraine; they are the same swine who most likely shot down the Malaysian airliner using a fighter-jet-fired missile. That insane act still has not been laid to blame, although the Russians were the prime (wrong) suspects by the Western gang of criminals.

The West continues with their War on Russia by Economic Sanctions. Putin is no mug and has always seen through the West's lies, its treachery, its hidden agenda, and its desire to dominate and to subjugate Russia whatever the cost.

The BRICS group continues to threaten the economic dominance of the West... another reason why the West is fomenting war. By showing the world what Russia has on 911 secrets, Putin is playing his aces. If he can prove 911 was an inside job, the American people will surely bring People Power Justice to bear on the guilty and we might have what many have hoped for a long time: American Revolution II

And of course, as we suspected, Israel is also up to its eyeballs in Ukraine as that is the original home of the Jews.

Bring it on, comrade Vlad. The world has been waiting since 2001 for the 911 truth to be told.

    Default Nuland: Another Liar

    'Nuland Ensconced in Neocon
Camp Who Believes in Noble Lie'

Victoria Nuland’s anti-Russian rhetoric comes from the neocon camp of US politics, seeking to stir the Ukraine crisis, thrilled by the prospect of defense industry expansion and more arms sales, Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Peace Institute told RT.

RT: World leaders and international monitors agree the situation in Ukraine is generally improving. Why are we still witnessing aggressive rhetoric from some US officials?

Daniel McAdams: Because the US does not want peace to break out. The US is determined to see its project through. But unfortunately like all of its regime change projects this one is failing miserably. Victoria Nuland completely disregards the role of the US in starting the conflict in Ukraine. She completely glosses over the fact that the army supported by Kiev has been bombarding Eastern Ukraine, as if these independent fighters in the east are killing themselves and their own people. Victoria Nuland was an aid to Dick Cheney; she is firmly ensconced in the neocon camp. The neocons believe very strongly in lying, the noble lie… They lied us into the war in Iraq; they are lying now about Ukraine. Lying is what the neocons do.

RT: Nuland listed a lot of hostile actions by Russia without providing any reliable proof. Do you think she can she be challenged on these topics?
