Unfortunately, those smart Americans have died.
I may have been deployed in Germany on a nuclear missile site when this picture was taken. My solution to fighting in a war in which you are a conscientious objector is to put you in a medical unit on the battle front where you can serve a healing purpose rather than a killing one. This will quickly weed out the legitimate conscientious objectors from the cowards who hide behind war protests. The cowards will flee to Canada and the legitimate conscientious objectors will step up to the healing role. They can be life savers instead of life takers.

Cowards? You call these guys cowards? LBJ was the biggest coward, criminal and mega-exterminator who was responsible for fraudulently beginning a war with Vietnam that killed 3M Viets, poisoned their country and 52,000 American soldiers lost their lives.
I would say the bigger cowards were those who refused or didn't have the ballz to speak up and speak out about the corrupt President and his war cronies benefiting greatly personally and career-wise from that war. Just like Cheney and Halliburton in another war.
Cowards? No, these marching dudes then were not cowards. They were the smart ones, heroes actually, waking people up as to what dupes they were, doing the beck and call of corrupt politicians. Just like today. Nothing much has changed.![]()

I recognize that young person behind Nixon on that fateful day. It's on the tip of my tongue... it's... it's...
