Your quote reminds me of a Simpson's episode where Rev. Lovejoy is giving a sermon on the sins of gambling. Then when the Simpsons are leaving the church you see some of the signs in the background advertising the church's bingo and monte carlo nights!

One of my favorite things about Catholics is their love of gambling. I sure wish the protestants would lighten up on the whole subject.

Gambling, beer, bingo...yeah, Catholics have it right! Religion's no good if you have to give up living!

I'm pretty sure conservative Jews do not, they Torah is written in Hebrew w/o any vowels so that would makes sense. Im not sure of the Reformed Jews because i know their Torah is written w/o vowels, but vowel sounds were added to the letters.

Exactly what is God's name and how do you spell it? Wars have been fought on this issue.

No, what I am saying is that at least Orthodox Jews never say God, or any other name for God. I don't know if this is also practiced by conservative and reformed Jews as well.

    Default 72 mythbusters

zg, you gave us 72 names for God, in Icelandic or something, with the hint of suggestion that there are more than that. How many names has he got? Why would God need so many names? I just don't get it... I smell another Myth Buster job.
