If used in a card game, wouldn't it amount to cheating, in as much as, such activity was not contemplated in the rules of the game, presupposing humans with the normal abilities of humans being the players? It definitely seems like an unfair advantage to me. Of course the catchability factor is very low, so if getting caught is what decides your moral code, then I guess it all right for you. [sarcasm intended]
Where have you been? Casinos have been cheating since forever. Did you notice? Moral codes? What moral codes apply in a casino? If they have none, then... WTF? Fight fire with fire I reckon... And um, I just love dealer errors. Bring em on!

Interesting theory. There are two worlds, one where morals apply and one where they don't. Does that mean if the casinos cheat you good and proper, you should have no recourse to the law, since in that world, morals do not apply?

Dutch: Damn that Deke Thornton to Hell!
Pike: What would you do in his place? He gave his word.
Dutch: Gave his word to a railroad.
    Pike: It's his word!
Dutch: That ain't what counts. It's who you give it to!

You nailed it. You have that uncanny ability to cut to the core of the matter with so few words.
