Looks like Zappa was a voodoo player... Not that there's anything wrong with that. (Please do not tell the Norm).

    More from Frank...

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. ~ Frank Zappa

I heard The Norm has eyes and ears everywhere. And The Norm has even been seen here; albeit some time ago. My voodoo knucklebones tell me another Norm visit is imminent. But they have been known to be wrong... once.

As I recall, the decision at BJINFO to not allow discussion of intuition and psychic/PSI related discussion was heavily lobbied by 'The Norm.'

    Wikipedia on Parapsychology -

In parapsychology, psi is the unknown factor in extrasensory perception and psychokinesis experiences that is not explained by known physical or biological mechanisms. The term is derived from the Greek, ψ psi, 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet; from the Greek ψυχή psyche, "mind, soul". The term was coined by biologist Berthold P. Wiesner, and first used by psychologist Robert Thouless in a 1942 article published in the British Journal of Psychology. The Parapsychological Association divides psi into two main categories: psi-gamma for extrasensory perception and psi-kappa for psychokinesis. In popular culture, "psi" has become more and more synonymous with special psychic, mental, and "psionic" abilities and powers.

Imagined abilities and powers. Didn't they catch that leading proponent of psychokinesis Uri Geller using trickery to bend spoons?

If used in a card game, wouldn't it amount to cheating, in as much as, such activity was not contemplated in the rules of the game, presupposing humans with the normal abilities of humans being the players? It definitely seems like an unfair advantage to me. Of course the catchability factor is very low, so if getting caught is what decides your moral code, then I guess it all right for you. [sarcasm intended]

Geller is real, James Randi is the fraud.

    Irrelevant.

Where have you been? Casinos have been cheating for years. Did you notice? Moral codes? What moral codes apply in a casino? If they have none, then... WTF? Fight fire with fire I reckon...
