At 9:20 PM, July 16,1999, John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. radioed the tower at an airport near Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts announcing that he was preparing to land. Seconds after, his plane exploded in mid-air, and this was witnessed by several witnesses including a local newspaper reporter and an attorney. On board were his wife Caroline Bessette and her sister Lauren. Lauren's luggage was recovered miles from the crash site, an event that can only be caused by a mid-air explosion.

For reasons that would later become clear, search for the missing plane was delayed for 5 hours, when Pres. William "Bill" Clinton sent out the equivalent of the Sixth Fleet to find the wreckage, hide it and the bodies from the snoopy media, and though JFK Jr. was never in the Navy, and though the families did not consent, cremate the corpses, or evidence, and throw the ashes into the water in a quickly planned, elaborate, Navy funeral at sea.

Behind the scenes, a hokey cover story was concocted. The weather, which was perfect, became stormy. JFK Jr. had a gimpy leg. Reports by the FAA and FBI, both concluding foul play was involved, were buried, the arrival of Israeli PM Ehud Barak to Clinton's court the day before was given an alternative explanation...In fact JFK Jr.'s profound affect on Israel was never mentioned.

But it was huge. In the March, 1997 issue of his magazine, George, JFK Jr. became the only publisher of a major American publication to expose the conspiracy to murder Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. His 13 page expose shook the Israeli establishment to it's foundations:

Nah.. I followed that one closely and saw the flight path/altitude deviations. The aircraft was out of control and was overspeeding (exceeding VNE). It was probably coming apart way before it hit the water. JR. was a victim of "Doctors Symdrome," i.e. more money than experience, enabling him to buy an aircraft above his experience level. He probably lost a primary flight instrument and didn't have the experience/training to handle it. He was flying in some very challenging conditions..no storm.. just visual conditions that will cause serious spatial disorientation. Lots of money, little experience, and a fairly high performance aircraft in challenging conditions = Headlines.

P.S.
It's possible sabotage was involved, but not an explosive. No reason to believe it though.

LOL.. I will also say this... a "company" I once worked for was told by F. Lee Bailey, (He was representing the company during a Fed investigation). "Get rid of the airplane; I lose more clients that way!" ...

At the time his plane went down, I was living in Massachusetts. Kerryville. The state has gone under. On the particular day, I heard the news.

A reporter for The Vineyard Gazette who was on the island, was quoted as having seen the plane come down to land, and to have seen a flash on the plane. Next thing the plane went out of control and crashed into the sea below. He was quoted on the internet saying this.

Having been a reporter, and having seen many other events go down (I get put in these situations, to witness, etc.) I decided to call the reporter in question. Somehow, I quickly reached him.

He repeated the story.

Next, the article disappeared from the internet, and no more report was made on the news which included any of the information from the eye-witness reporter.

Next, I noticed this disappearance of the article, and called the reporter back.

All of a sudden he no longer existed.

I couldn't find him no matter what I did, despite my having spoken to him hours before.

Gone.

A performance study of the radar data revealed that the target began a descent from 5,500 feet about 34 miles west of MVY. The speed during the descent was calculated to be about 160 knots indicated airspeed (KIAS), and the rate of descent was calculated to have varied between 400 and 800 feet per minute (fpm). About 2138, the target began a right turn in a southerly direction. About 30 seconds later, the target stopped its descent at 2,200 feet and began a climb that lasted another 30 seconds. During this period of time, the target stopped the turn, and the airspeed decreased to about 153 KIAS. About 2139, the target leveled off at 2,500 feet and flew in a southeasterly direction. About 50 seconds later, the target entered a left turn and climbed to 2,600 feet. As the target continued in the left turn, it began a descent that reached a rate of about 900 fpm. When the target reached an easterly direction, it stopped turning; its rate of descent remained about 900 fpm. At 2140:15, while still in the descent, the target entered a right turn. As the target's turn rate increased, its descent rate and airspeed also increased. The target's descent rate eventually exceeded 4,700 fpm. The target's last radar position was recorded at 2140:34 at an altitude of 1,100 feet. On July 20, 1999, about 2240, the airplane's wreckage was located in 120 feet of water, about 1/4 mile north of the target's last recorded radar position.

The CFI stated that the pilot had the ability to fly the airplane without a visible horizon but may have had difficulty performing additional tasks under such conditions. He also stated that the pilot was not ready for an instrument evaluation as of July 1, 1999, and needed additional training. The CFI was not aware of the pilot conducting any flight in the accident airplane without an instructor on board. He also stated that he would not have felt comfortable with the accident pilot conducting night flight operations on a route similar to the one flown on, and in weather conditions similar to those that existed on, the night of the accident. The CFI further stated that he had talked to the pilot on the day of the accident and offered to fly with him on the accident flight. He stated that the accident pilot replied that "he wanted to do it alone."

A third CFI flew with the pilot between May 1998 and July 1999. This CFI accumulated 57 hours of flight time with the pilot, including 17 hours of night flight and 8 hours flown in IMC. The pilot also used this instructor for instruction on cross-country flights and as a safety pilot. This CFI had conducted a "complex airplane" evaluation on the pilot and signed him off in the accident airplane in May 1999. According to the CFI, on one or two occasions, the airplane's autopilot turned to a heading other than the one selected, which required the autopilot to be disengaged and then reengaged. He stated that it seemed as if the autopilot had independently changed from one navigation mode to another. He also stated that he did not feel that the problem was significant because it only happened once or twice.

No info on that allegation. Not sure why you would delay a search for a plane in 120 feet of water for any reason.

I really don't care what nationality he is. Your posts are obviously biased against Israel as I've never seen you once post a link or have a thread bashing the Palestinians or Iranians for that matter. I am not quick to bash Muslims in general as I know there are good and bad members of every race. I'll bash Ahmadinejead because he is a certifiable wack job. Anyone who denies the Holocaust happened and despite what you may say, claims Israel will be "wiped off the map" doesn't deserve to be respected imho.

If you want to have a conversation about why propaganda can be so successfully embedded in the minds of many, I'm sure that any sociologist would welcome that. I will simply say that politicians thrive on exploiting the fears of the masses whether that fear is logical or not. It is up to us as a democracy to evaluate what we're told and decide on a logical course of action. To always be a skeptic though is not constructive as there more often than not is a focused spectrum of truth behind every statement. The consequences of a lie far can far outweigh in my mind, the grains of truth.
